  • Named for Peter McGregor who had a grist mill ca.1835- 1895.

McDougall Outlet

  • Flows west into Magaguadavic River from McDougall Lake.
  • In Maliseet, Abugwapska, possibly meaning ‘parallel rocky stream’.

McDougall Lake

  • East of Magaguadavic River.
  • Named for Samuel McDougall (or McDougald), settler at Second Falls circa 1785 and lumberman in the area.
  • McDougall Inlet flows into McDougall Lake.

McDougall Falls

  • On Magaguadavic River.
  • Named for Samuel McDougall (or McDougald) Loyalist settler at Second Falls circa 1785.

McDonald Point

  • Extends into Baie Sainte-Anne at Hardwicke.
  • Named for Alexander McDonald, a settler in 1790.

McDonald Corner

  • 8 miles east of Gagetown.
  • Post Office McDonald’s Corner 1860-1916, Lewis McDonald, first postmaster.
  • Alexander Black MacDonald was a settler 1818; two of his brothers, Lewis and John, also settled there.

McCulloughs Pond

  • West of Kerr Lake and north of St. Andrews.
  • Settled by McCulloughs circa 1839.

McCallum Brook

  • Flows southwest into Youngs Brook, east of Nashwaak Bridge.
  • Named for a disbanded soldier of the 42nd (Black Watch) Regiment.
